There is no shortage of trucking information online. The harder part is sorting out what is worth your time, what actually affects the truck or the business, and what is just another headline.

That is what the articles and updates at Exodus Truck & Trailer are built around.

You will find everything from semi-truck troubleshooting, maintenance and repair to DOT compliance, cargo securement, equipment, owner-operator business, life on the road and changes happening across the trucking industry.

Some posts will be timely. Newsflash is where we cover things such as FMCSA and DOT changes, enforcement updates, recalls, industry developments and other news that could affect drivers, owner-operators or small carriers.

Other articles are meant to stay useful long after they are published. That may include working through a truck problem, deciding whether a repair can wait, understanding an inspection issue, comparing equipment, managing operating costs or dealing with something drivers commonly run into on the road.

We will also use Exodus Updates to let you know when something new is being added here — new troubleshooting resources, Mile-Proven material, Community features, guides, tools, services and other additions to Exodus Truck & Trailer.

We are not interested in filling the site with posts just to keep a feed moving.

When we cover a regulation or industry change, we want to explain what changed and why it may matter. When we write about a truck problem, we want the article to help you narrow down what is happening and lead you into the related troubleshooting resources. When we cover equipment, maintenance or business decisions, the information should help you understand the issue well enough to decide what to look at next.

When an original source matters — especially with regulations, enforcement, recalls or other changing information — we will point you back to it so you can check the source for yourself.

Some articles will be completely free to read. Others may include a public portion with additional material available inside the Exodus Trucking Community.

As the site grows, these articles will connect directly with the Tractor Center, Trailer Center, Hotshot Center, DOT & Compliance resources and other areas of Exodus so you can move from an article into the deeper information related to the problem you are working on.

The point is not to give you one more trucking feed to scroll through.

It is to build a place where the news, truck talk, road issues, repairs, regulations and business side of trucking connect to the resources you can actually use.
